We believe in being clear upfront, so you know exactly what kind of support and experience you’re stepping into with Dutch Career Compass.

What happens after I sign up?

Once you have paid for the program, you will receive an email with clear instructions to get started. You will be able to create your account, set your password, and download the app so you can access the program easily on your phone as well as on desktop. Inside the platform, you can upload your photo and start exploring the program right away. You will also receive an additional email with helpful instructions, and once you have logged in the first time, everything is very easy to use.

How quickly can I expect support?

The email support is available within reason. This is not a 24/7 support service, and you can typically expect a response within 2 business days. Obviously, we do our best to be there for you as soon as possible.

How does the community remain a safe space?

The community is designed to be supportive, respectful, and action-driven. It is a professional peer space where members are expected to contribute constructively. Spam, inappropriate promotion, or misuse of the community may lead to removal. Recruiters and employers are intentionally not part of this community, so members can feel safe to connect honestly behind the scenes. Think of it as a backstage space: a place where you do not have to keep up appearances, but can openly share your questions, doubts, and real experiences with peers who understand and support you. That way, you can grow stronger and show up with more confidence when it matters most.

Are the live Q&A sessions recorded?

Yes. Live Q&A sessions may be recorded so members can rewatch them later. Joining a live session means you understand and accept that recording may take place.

Do I have to be on camera during Q&A sessions?

No. Keeping your camera on is completely optional. You are welcome to participate in the way that feels most comfortable for you.

Will I be introduced to recruiters, companies, or people in the network?

Possibly, but not automatically. Warm introductions or recommendations may happen when there is a strong fit, the timing is right, and you are ready for that next step. They are always selective and never guaranteed.

Are referrals included in the program?

No mass referrals are offered. Any introduction is carefully curated and tailored to the individual situation, rather than sent out automatically.

Does joining guarantee interviews or a job offer?

No. The program does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or placement. The goal is to strengthen your positioning, strategy, and readiness, but outcomes always depend on multiple factors.

Will private recruiter information be shared in the community?

No. Confidentiality matters. Recruiter names, private contacts, and non-public channels are not shared openly inside the community.

What happens if someone misuses the community?

To protect the quality of the space, misuse such as spam, disrespectful behavior, or unprofessional conduct may result in removal from the community.
